  1. First of all, wash n soak yellow moong daal in enough water for 4 hours or you can soak overnight too. Drain the water completely.
  2. Add moong dal, ginger-garlic, green chilies n curd to a jar n grind well.
  3. Grind into a smooth paste adding water gradually.
  4. Add chopped carrots, spinach leaves chopped n corn kernels. You can add raw corn to the batter as we are going to steam it or you can add boiled too. Mix everything well.
  5. Add salt, turmeric powder n fruit salt n mix gently.
  6. Take a plate on which you want to set the batter. Grease it with oil. Take a Vessel in which you want to steam it. Pour enough water n let it boil. Put a stand too.
  7. Meanwhile, water is boiling, pour the batter into the greeced plate. Put it on a stand n cover n cook for at least 10 to 15 minutes.
  8. After 10 to 15 minutes check if the batter is completely steamed or not by piercing the knife to the batter. Cut the dhoklas in square pieces or your desired shape.
  9. Now heat a dosa tawa, add oil n cumin seeds n mustard seeds. Then add sesame seeds. Let them crackle then add black salt, red chili powder, coriander leaves n pav bhaji masala.
  10. Remove each piece carefully n roast on tawa.
  11. Roast properly from each side.
  12. Serve hot with tea or your favorite chutney. Green coriander chutney or imli chutney.
