- Soak d moong dal in warm water for at least 15-20mins.
- Wash d turai and peel d skin off., chop as per your desired wish.
- Heat a wok,add oil,add mustard seeds,let it splutter,add green chillies,curry leaves,add chopped garlic cloves,saute for some seconds,add, onions,saute till becomes translucent,add turmeric,red chilli, coriander powder,saute,add tomatoes,saute till it becomes soft,add in soaked and rinsed split yellow moong dal,stir well.
- Add chopped turai mix well and add salt and sugar,close with a lid. The turai will start releasing its water and it is sufficient for d dal to cook.
